Learning a language is like exercise or driving. Whatever you learn and don't use, you'll forget. This workshop connects language with the construction field, sites, projects, stakeholders, and all site-related tasks. So, if you're in construction—whether a student, employee, engineer, or manager—you'll find yourself using the language you learn and never forgetting it. Moreover, it will definitely benefit you unlike other things you might learn but not benefit from.
Translation:
The workshop will be divided into two levels:
- We will develop all language skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
- We will cover topics that reflect the latest developments in the construction field.
- We will clearly outline language goals and specific functions.
- We will use the book "English for Construction," part of the Pearson Longman series (a series of books focusing on English language in specific fields such as construction, banking, finance, IT, medicine, and petroleum).
- Workshop duration: 40 hours, consisting of 14 sessions, with two sessions per week.
- Each session will be 3 to 4 hours long, conducted live via Zoom, with the final session including an exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, participants will receive a workshop attendance certificate.
