Electrical Express Train (Mohamed Naguib Station)
1.1 Project Description:
the high-speed electric train in Egypt is a mega project with a total length of about 660 km nationwide, at a total cost of 360 billion pounds, with the immediate start of the implementation of the line that will connect Ain Sukhna to the new city of El Alamein, through the new administrative capital.
The project starts from the city of Ain Sukhna on the Red Sea coast, to the new city of Alamein, through the new administrative capital, the 6th of October city, the current Alexandria railway station and the city of Borg El Arab.
1.2 It Includes 15 Stations, which are as follows:
(Ain Sokhna - the administrative capital - May 15 - Mohamed Naguib - south of Giza -October Gardens - October - Sadat - Wadi El Natroun - Nubaria - Burj Al Arab -Alexandria - Amriya - Hammam - El Alamein)
It Includes 3 Future Stations, which are as follows: (Al-Moshir Tunnel - Al-Dabaa axis - Al-Ameed)
1.3 Project Goals:
It connects all the governorates of Egypt to transport passengers and goods, and is considered one of the safe and completely separate means of transportation from the existing traffic axes in the cities.
The direction is to establish a transportation network based on clean energy.
Connecting the Mediterranean Sea with the Red Sea by a land route to transport goods.
Connecting industrial areas to export ports.
Establishment of new logistic zones that serve all the industrial and agricultural zones passing through to transport products and raw materials to and from them at a speed of up to120 km/h.
